Frequently asked questions
Is the wiring for 30A loads different from smaller supplies?
Yes, at 30 A the wires and connectors carry much more current, so use conductors and terminals rated for the full load current with a safe margin. Undersized wiring can overheat.
Does it need airflow?
The built-in fan cools the unit, so keep the fan and vents clear of obstructions and dust. Good airflow is important at high output currents.
