How do I wire the E18-D80NK?
Most E18 modules use three wires: brown for +5 V, blue for GND, and black for the signal output. Confirm the colors and pinout printed on your module before connecting it to a digital input.
Why are the detections inconsistent?
Dark or matte surfaces reflect less infrared, which shortens the effective range. Strong sunlight or other infrared sources can also cause false triggers. Adjust the sensitivity by turning the threaded body or its potentiometer and shield the sensor from direct sunlight.
