What battery does this module need?
It is designed for one 18650 lithium-ion cell. The module charges the cell and boosts its voltage to the 5V USB output, so the cell must be a 18650 Li-ion type.
Will my phone charge at the fast-charging rate?
The module supports several fast-charging protocols such as PD and FCP on its ports. Fast charging happens only when your device also supports one of these protocols; otherwise it charges at standard 5V.
