Frequently asked questions
How do I connect the control signals?
Connect the pulse (PUL), direction (DIR) and enable (ENA) signals from your controller to the driver inputs, with the common terminal wired according to the manual's diagram. Whether you use common-anode or common-cathode wiring depends on your controller's output type.
How do I match the driver to my motor and power supply?
Use a motor within the driver's 7.2 A peak limit and set the motor current with the driver's DIP switches as described in the manual. Power it within 18-80 VAC or 24-110 VDC, and keep the supply voltage within the stated range.
