Frequently asked questions
What soldering tools do I need for this board?
A fine-tip temperature-controlled iron, tweezers, flux and a magnifier are the usual basics. Fine tips and flux make the 0603 and SOP16 pads easier to work with.
Do I need a hot air station for the SOP16 pads?
Not necessarily. A fine-tip iron with flux and careful drag soldering works for practice, while hot air can make the SOP16 pads faster to work with.
