About this product
A digital clock with alarm built around a DS1302 real-time clock module with a backup battery, so timekeeping continues while the Arduino is powered off. Frequently asked questions
Does the clock keep the correct time when the Arduino is unplugged?
Yes. The DS1302 module has a battery that keeps the clock counting while the Arduino is powered off, as stated in the listing.
How is the DS1302 connected to the Arduino?
The DS1302 uses a three-wire serial interface (CLK, DAT and RST) plus power and ground. Check the module's labels and the wiring diagram in the kit before powering the circuit.
