Can I drive this motor directly from an Arduino pin?
No. The motor draws far more current than a microcontroller pin can supply. Use a motor driver with its own 12 V supply, and connect the Arduino only to the driver's control inputs.
How do I reverse the motor direction?
Swap the two motor wires, or reverse the direction input on an H-bridge motor driver. Reversing the polarity of the 12 V supply to the motor also reverses it, but this is not recommended for driver-controlled setups.
