About this product
A low-power sub-1 GHz RF transceiver from Texas Instruments for ISM and SRD bands at 315, 433, 868 and 915 MHz. Its configurable modem supports 2-FSK, GFSK, MSK, OOK and ASK at data rates up to 600 kbps, and it is controlled by a host microcontroller over SPI for wireless sensor, remote control and telemetry links.

Frequently asked questions
Can I connect it directly to a 5V Arduino?
No. The CC1101 operates at 1.8 V to 3.6 V, so 5V logic signals need level shifting on the SPI lines, and the module must be powered from a 3.3V supply.
What else does it need to work?
It needs a reference crystal (26 MHz is the common frequency on CC1101 designs), an antenna matched to the band you use, and a host microcontroller that configures its registers over SPI.
