About this product
Capacitive soil moisture sensor that estimates soil water content by measuring changes in capacitance, so it has no exposed metal probes to corrode like resistive types. It outputs an analog voltage for automatic watering and plant monitoring projects with Arduino or ESP32.

Frequently asked questions
How do I wire the soil moisture sensor to an Arduino?
Connect VCC and GND to the board's power pins and AOUT to an analog input such as A0. Calibrate by recording readings in dry air and in water, then map the values to a moisture scale.
Can I use it with ESP32?
Yes, but the ESP32 ADC accepts a maximum of about 3.3 V. Make sure the sensor's output stays within that range, for example by powering the sensor from 3.3 V, before connecting AOUT to an ADC pin.
