Frequently asked questions
Which relay coil voltage should I use with an Arduino?
The 5VDC relay coil matches an Arduino 5V supply, so it can be driven with a transistor or relay module. The 9VDC coil needs a 9V supply on its coil and is not driven directly from an Arduino pin.
How do I connect electrolytic capacitors correctly?
Electrolytic capacitors are polarized. The longer leg is positive and the marked side is negative, so the negative leg must go to the lower-voltage or ground side of the circuit. Reversing them can damage the capacitor.
