About this product
The BSS123 is an N-channel MOSFET in an SOT-23 surface-mount package, rated for 100 V drain-source voltage and 170 mA continuous drain current. It is commonly used as a low-side switch for driving small loads such as LEDs, relays and signal lines from logic-level outputs.

Frequently asked questions
What is the price of BSS123 N-Channel MOSFET 100V 170mA SOT-23 in Egypt?
BSS123 N-Channel MOSFET 100V 170mA SOT-23 currently costs 2.25 EGP in Egypt.
Where can I buy BSS123 N-Channel MOSFET 100V 170mA SOT-23 in Egypt?
BSS123 N-Channel MOSFET 100V 170mA SOT-23 is available from Makers Electronics. Compare the offers above to find the best price.
Can BSS123 be driven directly from a 3.3 V or 5 V microcontroller pin?
Its rated RDS(on) is specified at 10 V gate drive, so at 3.3 V or 5 V logic levels it will not fully turn on and the on-resistance will be higher. For fast or low-drop switching at 5 V, a logic-level MOSFET is a better choice.
Does it need a resistor on the gate?
A series gate resistor of about 100 Ω to 1 kΩ and a pull-down resistor from gate to source are common practice. They limit ringing and keep the MOSFET off when the MCU pin is floating.
