About this product
This bidirectional TVS diode protects sensitive circuits from voltage transients such as ESD and lightning-induced surges. Rated at 12 V, it clamps both positive and negative spikes. It is listed with 128 W peak pulse power at an 8/20 µs waveform, a SOD-323 (0805) package and a 1.1 mm low profile for compact surface-mount boards.

Frequently asked questions
Where should I place the TVS diode on a board?
Place it as close as possible to the connector or entry point of the signal, connected between the signal line and ground, so transient current is diverted before it reaches sensitive components.
Is the 12V version suitable for a 12V line?
Only if the line's peak operating voltage stays below 12 V. If it can exceed that, including ripple or spikes, the 24 V version is the safer choice so the diode does not conduct during normal operation.
