About this product
A holder for three AAA cells that gives a nominal 4.5V output when three 1.5V cells are installed. Batteries slide in and out easily. It is a simple power source for breadboard projects, microcontroller prototypes, small motors and sensors.

Can I use rechargeable AAA cells in this holder?
Yes, but NiMH AAA cells are 1.2V each, so three of them give about 3.6V nominal instead of 4.5V. Check that your circuit accepts the lower voltage.
How do I connect this holder safely to a circuit?
Observe the polarity marking inside the holder and check the terminal arrangement before connecting it. Do not mix old and new cells or different battery types in the same holder.
