What voltage does this holder provide?
With three alkaline AA cells in series, the nominal output is about 4.5V. Use a voltage regulator if your circuit needs a lower or stable voltage, such as 3.3V.
Can I use rechargeable AA cells in this holder?
Yes, but NiMH AA cells are rated at about 1.2V each, so three give roughly 3.6V instead of 4.5V. Check that your circuit accepts that voltage range before using rechargeable cells.
