About this product
A project kit for a trash bin that opens its lid by itself. A distance sensor watches the area in front of the bin. When an object comes within 20 cm, an SG90 servo turns 90 degrees to lift the lid, waits 3 seconds, and closes it. Children design the lid and arm from cardboard or light plastic.

Frequently asked questions
Can I power the SG90 servo from the Arduino 5V pin?
It is safer to use a separate 5V supply with a shared GND connection. The SG90 is typically rated for 4.8 to 6V and draws short current spikes when it moves, which can cause the Arduino to reset.
Which library controls the servo?
The Servo library included with the Arduino IDE controls the servo. Connect the signal wire to a PWM-capable pin such as pin 9 on the Uno.
