Frequently asked questions
Do I need to solder the SMD chip myself?
Yes. The board has pads for soldering an SMD microcontroller, so the chip must be soldered on before use. Use flux, a fine-tip iron or hot-air station, and inspect every pin under magnification.
How do I program it?
Connect an AVR ISP programmer such as USBasp to the ISP header, and select ATmega1280 or ATmega2560 as the target in your programming software. Confirm the header pin order against the board silkscreen before connecting.
