Frequently asked questions
Can the HC-SR04 be connected directly to the Nano at 5 V?
Yes. The HC-SR04 is a 5 V module. Connect VCC to 5V, GND to GND, and the Trig and Echo pins to two digital pins on the Nano, then read the distance with a simple sketch.
Does the Arduino Nano CH340 need a driver on Windows?
Usually yes. The CH340 USB chip normally needs its USB driver installed on Windows before the board appears as a COM port. After installing it, select Arduino Nano with the ATmega328P processor in the Arduino IDE.
