Frequently asked questions
Can I use 5 V shields with the Due?
Check the shield first. The Due operates at 3.3 V, so many 5 V shields need level shifting before they can be used safely.
Do I need to solder headers before use?
Headers are not fitted. To use shields, solder 2.54 mm pin headers, or wire directly to the pads you need.
