Frequently asked questions
What is the price of Active Buzzer 5V 12x9.5mm Electromagnetic PCB Buzzer in Egypt?
Active Buzzer 5V 12x9.5mm Electromagnetic PCB Buzzer currently costs 7 EGP in Egypt.
Where can I buy Active Buzzer 5V 12x9.5mm Electromagnetic PCB Buzzer in Egypt?
Active Buzzer 5V 12x9.5mm Electromagnetic PCB Buzzer is available from Microohm. Compare the offers above to find the best price.
How do I wire this active buzzer?
Connect the positive pin to 5V and the other pin to GND, and check the polarity markings on the body before wiring. Because it is an active buzzer, it sounds whenever DC power is applied, so it cannot produce varying tones on its own.
Can I drive it directly from an Arduino or ESP32 pin?
Not reliably. At 5V, its 90 Ω resistance draws about 55 mA, which is more than a typical microcontroller pin should supply directly. Drive it through an NPN transistor or MOSFET from a 5V supply. ESP32 GPIO pins are 3.3V logic, so use a transistor stage there as well.
