About this product
Single-phase AC voltage sensor module based on a mutual inductor (voltage transformer), which provides galvanic isolation between the mains voltage and the measurement circuit. It is used to monitor AC line voltage in energy meter and power monitoring projects, with the output scaled for a microcontroller ADC.

Frequently asked questions
Is it safe to connect this module to mains voltage?
Mains voltage is dangerous. The transformer isolates the measurement circuit, but connections should be made only with the supply disconnected, using insulated wiring in an enclosure, and by someone experienced with mains work.
How do I read the AC output with a microcontroller?
The output is an AC signal, so it must be scaled to the ADC range, usually with a bias to half the reference voltage. Use the module's stated ratio and sample many cycles to compute the RMS value.
