About this product
Manual phase-angle AC load regulator with a front knob, using a BTA41-800B thyristor (SCR) to vary the AC output from 0 to 220 V for loads up to 4000 W. It is intended for dimming lamps and adjusting resistive heating loads on 220 V AC mains, and must be installed in a proper enclosure with mains safety precautions.

Frequently asked questions
Can it dim LED lamps?
Not reliably. Phase-control dimmers work correctly only with LED drivers designed for phase-cut dimming. Standard LED bulbs may flicker, buzz or fail to dim smoothly, so check the lamp's dimming compatibility first.
Which loads are suitable?
Resistive loads such as incandescent lamps and heaters are the most suitable. Inductive loads such as motors or transformers may not regulate properly, so verify compatibility before connecting, and never exceed the 4000 W rating.
