Frequently asked questions

What is the price of 78L05 5V Positive Voltage Regulator 100mA TO-92 in Egypt?

78L05 5V Positive Voltage Regulator 100mA TO-92 currently costs between 4 and 6.9 EGP across 2 offers in Egypt.

Where can I buy 78L05 5V Positive Voltage Regulator 100mA TO-92 in Egypt?

78L05 5V Positive Voltage Regulator 100mA TO-92 is available from Makers Electronics and Most Electronics. Compare the offers above to find the best price.

How do I wire the 78L05?

Pin 1 is the 5V output, pin 2 is ground and pin 3 is the unregulated input. Keep the input at least about 2V above 5V (7V or more is common) so the regulator stays in regulation. Add small ceramic capacitors on input and output as shown in the datasheet for stable operation.

Can it power an Arduino or a motor?

It is limited to 100 mA, so it suits small microcontroller, sensor and logic loads. It is not suitable for motors, relays or high-current modules. Use a higher-current regulator or a dedicated supply for those.
