No. At stall the motor draws up to 2.9A at 24V, far beyond a microcontroller pin. Use a motor driver rated for that current, such as an H-bridge driver.
How do I reverse the motor direction?
Swap the polarity of the two motor terminals. When using an H-bridge driver, you can change direction electronically through its direction inputs.
