The 74HC245D is a high-speed CMOS octal bus transceiver with non-inverting 3-state outputs. It transfers 8-bit data between two buses in either direction, controlled by a direction pin and an output-enable pin. It is used to interface microcontrollers with memory, peripherals and other bus-connected parts, in a 20-pin SOIC surface-mount package.
