About this product

The 74HC154 is a CMOS 4-to-16 line decoder that converts a 4-bit binary address into one of 16 active-low outputs. Two ANDed active-low enable inputs can strobe the decoder to suppress output glitches or expand it, and the chip can also act as a 1-to-16 demultiplexer. It is used in address decoding and digital logic projects.

Frequently asked questions

What is the price of 74HC154 4-to-16 Line Decoder/Demultiplexer DIP-24 in Egypt?

74HC154 4-to-16 Line Decoder/Demultiplexer DIP-24 currently costs between 55 and 100 EGP across 3 offers in Egypt.

Where can I buy 74HC154 4-to-16 Line Decoder/Demultiplexer DIP-24 in Egypt?

74HC154 4-to-16 Line Decoder/Demultiplexer DIP-24 is available from Future Electronics, Makers Electronics, and Circuits Electronics. Compare the offers above to find the best price.

How do I enable the outputs of the 74HC154?

Both enable inputs must be LOW. When enabled, the output selected by the 4-bit address goes LOW while the other 15 outputs stay HIGH. If either enable input is HIGH, all outputs stay HIGH.

Can the 74HC154 be used as a demultiplexer?

Yes. Apply the data signal to one enable input and hold the other enable input LOW. The addressed output then follows the data signal, while the other outputs remain HIGH.
