About this product
The 7447 is a BCD-to-7-segment decoder and driver that converts a 4-bit BCD input (0 to 9) into the segment signals needed to drive a common anode 7-segment display. It lets a microcontroller, counter or logic circuit show digits using only four data lines. It includes lamp test and ripple blanking inputs, with active-low open-collector outputs.

Frequently asked questions
What is the price of 7447 BCD to 7-Segment Decoder/Driver IC (Common Anode) DIP-16 in Egypt?
7447 BCD to 7-Segment Decoder/Driver IC (Common Anode) DIP-16 currently costs between 14 and 25 EGP across 4 offers in Egypt.
Where can I buy 7447 BCD to 7-Segment Decoder/Driver IC (Common Anode) DIP-16 in Egypt?
7447 BCD to 7-Segment Decoder/Driver IC (Common Anode) DIP-16 is available from Microohm, Makers Electronics, RAM Electronics, and Ekostra. Compare the offers above to find the best price.
Do I need resistors with the 7447?
Yes. Each segment output needs a current-limiting resistor between the 7447 output and the display segment pin, because the common anode connects to +5V. Choose the value according to the display's forward voltage and the current you want per segment.
How do I wire the 7447 pins?
Pin 16 is VCC (5V) and pin 8 is GND. The BCD inputs are A on pin 7, B on pin 1, C on pin 2 and D on pin 6. The segment outputs a to g are on pins 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 15 and 14. Lamp test is on pin 3 and ripple blanking on pin 5, both can be left high if unused.
