Frequently asked questions
Can this arm be controlled from an Arduino?
Yes. The servos are standard PWM-controlled hobby servos, so they can be driven from an Arduino or a similar microcontroller. Power the servos from a separate supply sized for four MG996 motors and connect the grounds together, rather than drawing their current from the Arduino 5V pin.
What wiring does each servo need?
Standard servos have three wires: signal, power (+) and ground (-). Connect the signal wire to a PWM-capable pin, and check the colours of the included servo wiring against your servo's pinout before powering the arm.
