How do I wire this LCD to an Arduino?
Connect VCC to 5V, GND to GND, SDA to the SDA pin and SCL to the SCL pin. On an Arduino Uno, SDA is A4 and SCL is A5. Then load an I2C LCD library.
What I2C address does the module use?
Many PCF8574 backpacks use address 0x27 or 0x3F, but the address depends on the board. Run an I2C scanner sketch to confirm the address before writing code, and adjust the contrast with the potentiometer on the backpack if text is not visible.
